株式会社LIFESCAPESは、国立研究開発法人日本医療研究開発機構（AMED）の令和8年度「橋渡し研究プログラム」において、Brain-Computer Interface（BCI）技術を活用した研究開発課題が採択されたことをお知らせいたします。本課題は、北海道大学を支援機関、同大学の向野雅彦教授を研究開発代表者とし、脳卒中後の重度上肢機能障害に対する革新的なニューロリハビリテーションの有効性と安全性を検証する医師主導治験として実施されます。

LIFESCAPES Selected for AMED’s FY2026 “Translational Research Program”
We are proud to announce that our R&D project leveraging Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology has been accepted into the FY2026 “Translational Research Program” by the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED).
This project will proceed as an investigator-initiated clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of an innovative neurorehabilitation system for severe stroke-related upper limb motor deficits. The initiative is supported by Hokkaido University as the designated supporting institution, with Professor Masahiko Mukaino of Hokkaido University serving as the Principal Investigator.
